I don't know why people think this is only different in the English dub.I've read the manga and Goku wasn't heroic or anything,but he wasn't an absolute retarded man child who never is serious. There are many many more comparisons but these are a few but to defeat the enemy for the good of the universe was always his plan (not challenge an evil frieza to see 'how strong he is') again, like a true royal ass would do :/ģ.) Versus Frieza, Goku was ALWAYS determined to stop him and even give him a chance to change his ways. DBS Goku would just laugh and try his hardest to fight for the sake of 'good sport'. Links are fine as the ATK links can constantly happen but what sucks is Supreme Power is just useless besides Kid Buu Event and Shattering hoping that he gets fierce just an extra oof to his 150% ki multiplier.Goku in DBS is selfish and heartless, not caring about his family or real danger.
